An increase for New Democracy is recorded by a new GPO poll for the newspaper "Parapolitika", with the ruling party reaching 29.4% in vote estimate, strengthening its position by one percentage point.
K. Mitsotakis with 33% continues to gather the highest percentage of trust among Greek citizens for the position of prime minister, while he is followed by Al. Tsipras with 24.9%, M. Karystianou with 15.5% and N. Androulakis with 14.9%.
According to the poll, Alexis Tsipras's ELAS is also moving upward, remaining stabilized in second place and increasing its percentages by 1.3 points, while on the contrary PASOK continues its downward course.
The party of Maria Karystianou also appears on a path of retreat, while Kyriakos Velopoulos's Greek Solution regains strength and claims third place. At the same time, 58.4% of citizens state that they desire political change, compared to 38.9% who favor stability, while the prospect of creating a new party by Antonis Samaras continues to record limited momentum.
