The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is putting into operation the granting of digital proof of collection, proceeding with significant improvements and simplifications of the relevant procedures.
By decisions of the Governor, George Pitsilis (A.1124/2026 and A.1125/2026), transactions for citizens, businesses and accountants are significantly facilitated, saving time and enhancing service speed.
From July 1, 2026, the digital proof of collection for central payments, credits, remittances of amounts and offsets is issued automatically and granted immediately through the myAADE digital portal, without requiring a Request or a visit to an AADE Service.
The digital proof of collection is granted through the myAADE digital portal (myAADE.gov.gr), at the path: My Account > Digital Proof of Collection
It covers the cases of:
- debt payments through credit institutions (using TO/TRO, by card or IRIS)
- amounts remitted from withholding upon the granting of a tax clearance certificate / debt certificate
- amounts remitted following the imposition of seizures in the hands of a third party
- central offsets
Access to the application is carried out by the liable person himself, by his legal representative or by an authorized accountant for this specific action.
In the event that access to the application is not possible, the digital proof may be granted following a Request to the competent Service. For 2025, through the My Requests application, 7,000 corresponding transactions were submitted and processed.
For the security and identification of transactions, the digital proof:
- bears a QR code for validity check
- is verified through the application Validity of Digital Proof of Collection
In addition, on the myAADE digital portal at the path: My Account > Payment Details, from 1/7/2026 three new options are added:
- Offset of certified debts centrally
- Offset of regulated debts centrally
- Credit of offset notes centrally
In each transaction, the “Update on the collection” is displayed.
With the new functionality, the taxpayer can see the debts to which the specific payment or remittance was credited.
In addition, he can see the payments or remittances that were not credited to any debt, creating overcollection.
