Following the signing of the relevant decision by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis, a new invitation was published by the Special Just Development Transition Program within the framework of the National Development Program 2021-2025, entitled “Utilization of VIOPA Ptolemaida”, with a total budget of 25 million euros.
The subject of the invitation is the financing of the works necessary for the environmental remediation of the 506-stremma area in which the industrial complex of nitrogen fertilizers of Ptolemaida (AEBAL) operated for a number of years.
This is a project with a strong development footprint for the Ptolemaida area, as after the completion of the planned works it will be possible to reuse and utilize this area for the development of the Ptolemaida Craft Park.
