The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announces the Turnover and Volume Indices in Retail Trade, with base year 2021=100.0 and reference month April 2026, the development of which, according to provisional data adjusted for the number of working days of a standard month of equal length, is as follows:
• The Overall Turnover Index in April 2026, compared with the corresponding index of April 2025, recorded a 4.0% increase and compared with the corresponding index of March 2026 an increase of 1.1%.
• The Overall Volume Index (turnover at constant prices), in April 2026, compared with the corresponding index of April 2025, recorded a decrease of 0.1% and compared with the corresponding index of March 2026 an increase of 0.3%.
• The seasonally adjusted Overall Turnover Index, in April 2026, compared with the corresponding index of March 2026 recorded a decrease of 1.1%.
• The seasonally adjusted Overall Volume Index, in April 2026, compared with the corresponding index of March 2026 recorded a decrease of 1.4%
