The competition notice for the recruitment of 600 private individuals as General Duties Firefighters on Fixed Term (PETH), under a public law employment relationship of a seven-year term, was published on the official website of the Fire Service.
Those successful in the competition will be placed in services of the Fire Service, in accordance with the provided organic positions of the notice, strengthening the operational readiness and the effective response of the corps in the protection of human life, citizens' property, and the natural environment.
The submission of applications will be carried out exclusively online from Wednesday, July 8, 2026 until Friday, July 17, 2026 through the special application available on the official website. Interested parties can be informed in detail about the content of the notice, the required qualifications, the supporting documents, the scoring criteria, as well as the application submission process through the relevant link.
Regarding the publication, the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Evangelos Tournas, stated:
