Apollo Hills has reached another significant construction milestone. Hines, the international real estate investment and development company implementing the project, announced the completion of the load-bearing structure, confirming that Apollo Hills, one of the most iconic luxury residential developments on the Athenian Riviera, is progressing according to the established timetable, with delivery targeted for the second quarter of 2027.
Present at the ceremony for the completion of the load-bearing structure were the Mayor of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, Mr. Grigoris Konstantellos, Mr. Paul Gomopoulos, Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines in Greece, Mr. Savvas Savvaidis, Chairman and CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty, as well as members of the project's development and construction teams.
Built in Voula, just 16 km south of central Athens and at the foothills of Mount Hymettus, Apollo Hills is a €200 million luxury development with BREEAM certification, designed by Porphyrios Associates and Diarchon Architects.
According to the relevant announcement, the project combines sustainable design, high-specification architecture, and a contemporary approach inspired by the Greek landscape and way of life, creating a new residential community that is attracting the interest of the international market. Construction has been undertaken by ELEMKA, while Greece Sotheby's International Realty has the exclusive commercial marketing of the residences.
Mr. Grigoris Konstantellos, Mayor of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, stated: “Apollo Hills sets a new standard for how large-scale projects can be implemented in our Municipality, with respect for the environment, a meaningful contribution to the local community, and a level of quality that upgrades the area as a whole. The completion of the main structural framework is a particularly important moment for Voula, and we look forward to the completion of the project and to welcoming its future residents to our city.”
Mr. Paul Gomopoulos, Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines in Greece, said: “The completion of this construction stage is an important moment for everyone who contributed to the implementation of the project. It is the result of many months of systematic work by a dedicated team, and it is important to see this effort reflected in the progress of the works. Apollo Hills is not only about building residences; it expresses what can be achieved when expertise meets a destination as special as the Athenian Riviera. We remain committed to the next steps of the project and to delivering a result that will meet the quality its future residents deserve.”
Mr. Savvas Savvaidis, Chairman and CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty, stated: “Greece Sotheby's International Realty has been connected with Apollo Hills from day one and, as the project takes shape, our conviction about its prospects is increasingly confirmed. The Athenian Riviera has now established itself as one of the most sought-after luxury residential destinations in Europe, and projects of this caliber contribute decisively to its momentum. International buyers are closely monitoring the market, are well-informed, highly selective, and recognize quality. Apollo Hills meets these expectations, and today’s milestone is yet another reason for confidence.”
