The incharge, the network with the fastest fast chargers in Greece, is proving in practice its leading role in the country's energy transition by supporting a pioneering investment for Greek standards in electromobility in heavy ore transport. In a strategic partnership with Hellas Gold, incharge is undertaking the full support of charging and energy management for the new, state-of-the-art fleet of heavy-duty electric vehicles.

According to the press release, for the needs of the daily ore transport route from the Olympiada mine to the port of Stratoni, incharge supplied Hellas Gold with two state-of-the-art 180kW fast chargers. These infrastructures ensure the uninterrupted, fast and safe charging of the two new fully electric Mercedes-Benz Actros e600 Pro Cabin trucks, which replace conventional vehicles, turning the route into an almost silent zero CO₂ emissions itinerary.
At the same time, the collaboration extends to digital services through the incharge management platform, providing Hellas Gold with the ability to monitor the vehicles' energy consumption and to provide data for the analysis of sustainability indicators. In this way, the optimal operation of the fleet is ensured and the reduction of the environmental footprint as a result of the investment is recorded with measurable data.
Mr. Nikos Koukoulopoulos, Commercial Director of incharge stated: “Our collaboration with Hellas Gold is a milestone for the Greek market, as it proves that incharge has the expertise and top-tier infrastructure to support even the most demanding, heavy industrial transport. We do not simply offer energy, but a complete, smart management ecosystem that enables businesses to turn the green transition into reality. We are proud to be driving developments toward a sustainable commercial and industrial future”.
incharge's participation in this pioneering project underlines the network's ability to respond to the most demanding professional, even industrial, continuous-operation applications, opening “new roads” for the future of freight transport in Greece.
