The Sarantis Group announces the inclusion of Möller’s in the product portfolio of its Health & Care Division as of July 1, further strengthening its presence in the Vitamins and Supplements category in the Greek market, a dynamically growing category directly linked to health, prevention and daily well-being.
With more than 170 years of expertise in Omega-3, Norwegian origin and a presence in more than 30 countries, Möller’s is one of the most recognizable and trusted Omega-3 brands. Its history begins in 1854, when pharmacist and inventor Peter Möller developed an innovative method of extracting cod liver oil with steam, without chemical solvents, laying the foundations for a brand that remains to this day synonymous with quality, scientific consistency and expertise.
In Greece, Möller’s has secured a strong position in the market, being the No1 Omega-3 brand, according to IQVIA data, while standing out for the trust it has built with consumers and healthcare professionals.
The inclusion of Möller’s in the Health & Care Division of the Sarantis Group marks a new era for the brand in the Greek market. Through a comprehensive 360° strategy, the Sarantis Group aims to further highlight the value, history and expertise of Möller’s, bringing it closer to modern consumers, families and healthcare professionals.
Möller’s products have a common core, Omega-3 EPA and DHA, while with their different forms and compositions they address different needs and ages. The product range includes Möller’s Total & Total Plus, Möller’s Forte, Möller’s Cardio, Möller’s Fish Gummies for children over 3 years old, as well as the classic Möller’s Cod Liver Oil. Depending on their composition, the products combine Omega-3 with selected vitamins and minerals, supporting functions such as the normal function of the heart, brain and vision, as well as the normal function of the immune system.
At the same time, Möller’s maintains high standards of quality and purity, with certifications and controls concerning, among other things, heavy metals, dioxins and PCBs, as well as certified sustainable fishing. The original cod liver oil comes from Arctic cod caught in clean Arctic waters and is transported to the factory in less than 24 hours from the catch, aiming for maximum freshness and the avoidance of oxidation.
Sophia Athanasopoulou, Health & Care Business Unit Director of the Sarantis Group, stated:
