Marina Procopiou, one of the four daughters of Greek shipowner George Procopiou, is expanding her investment activity in Norway with the acquisition of yet another property in the city of Kristiansand.
According to TradeWinds, Ms. Procopiou paid approximately 20 million Norwegian kroner (about $2 million) for the purchase of a residence at 60 Sumatraveien. This is the fifth property she has acquired on the same street, which is located about five kilometers south of the city center and is considered one of the most prime seaside areas in the region.
The total value of her investments in Kristiansand is now estimated at 62.3 million Norwegian kroner. The city is known as one of the sunniest destinations in Norway and is a popular location for holiday homes.
The 44-year-old Marina Procopiou has an active role in the Dynacom group, where she is involved with tanker sector projects and long-term business planning. At the same time, her husband, Tony Lauritzen, is chief executive officer of Dynacom LNG Partners.
The Procopiou family maintains a long tradition in real estate investments, alongside shipping. George Procopiou had already announced in 2020 that his four daughters would gradually take on a more active role in the group’s businesses, while he himself would remain active.
Among the family’s most significant recent investments is also the full control of the Astir Palace Vouliagmeni complex.
