The new service complements the existing refund guarantee—which applies to specific, documented reasons—by offering passengers the option to receive a refund if they cancel their ticket for any reason (Cancel for Any Reason – CFAR). No paperwork. No justification required.
With a single click, travelers gain financial protection in the event of cancellation for any reason, receiving additional compensation beyond the refund provided under the company’s policy.
The entire experience is 100% digital, both when purchasing the guarantee and during the claims process. Through the Seajets Wallet, travelers can submit a refund request directly from their mobile device, easily and securely.
This development marks a new milestone for a partnership that has already set a precedent in the Greek ferry industry. With both services now available, Seajets passengers can choose the level of protection that best suits their travel plans:
Seajets Total Refund Guarantee, powered by Wallbid – A refund guarantee service for specific, documented reasons (illness, accident, etc.).
Seajets Refund Guarantee Plus, powered by Wallbid – A refund guarantee service for any reason, without the need to submit supporting documentation.
Both services are underwritten through Wallbid by leading international reinsurers.
